School Curriculum

CBSE Based Curriculum

The nurturing of a child academic curiosity and development must be at the centre of what any school seeks to achieve. In preparing our curriculum, we have sought out the best practices in national and international teaching programs and examination boards. The information given here outlines the broad aims of our teaching at different levels in order to provide an idea of how a child will progress. The School follows an integrated curriculum, drawing on the programs of the CBSE board.

Sports & Extra Curricular Activities

Swami Vivekananda famously said, be strong, my young friends; that is my advice to you. You will be nearer to Heaven through football than through the study of the Gita. The school strongly promotes health, fitness and sportsmanship by encouraging team games and individual sporting skills. The school attaches great importance to co-curricular and extra curricular activities. These are designed to develop important traits of character like honestly, self-confidence, co-operation and diligence and to promote talents for leadership and responsibility. Debates, elocution and quiz contests, dramatics, flower arrangements, art and craft, Western Dance, Taekwondo, drawing and painting competitions, games and athletics are also included in the curriculum to promote physical and curricular values among students and to encourage in them a spirit of healthy competition. An inter-house athletic meet and school cultural programme is held every year.

Home Work

We believe that homework provides an important link between home and school and helps to reinforce the work being done in class. It allows parents to become involved in the education of their child. Parents are a valuable resource and can provide a little help and much encouragement to their child. Homework is best done in a setting free from distraction. It should be a positive experience, free from anxiety or stress. Parents are asked to promote accurate, neatly presented work. Parents are encourage to contact the class teacher if there are any concerns about homework. Content will vary according to the age and ability of the child.
